Today 27th February, 2016 makes it the 5th year since the Legendary Obafemi Martins scored the famous goal for Birmingham City against Arsenal in the Carling Cup final.
Birmingham City Football Club of England has therefore set aside every 27th of February as Obafemi Day and it has been trending on social media as #HAPPYOBAFEMIDAY.
Many #BCFC fans across England are celebrating today as the Super Eagles Weapon of Mass Destruction and former Seattle Sounders, Levante, Birmingham, Newcastle, Inter Milan and FC Ebedei ace also posted on his Instagram page to celebrate the day.
We hope Nigeria wakes up one day to celebrate it's stars both home and abroad just to encourage them and the youths to be good ambassadors of this great nation.
