SIX REASONS YOUR CHILDREN SHOULD NOT ATTEND PRIVATE SCHOOL

The word ‘private’ means something that is owned by an individual, or of some sort of personal. A private school is an educational organisation that is owned by an individual or corporate body.
Here are six reasons you should never take your wards to a private school.

1. Inadequate drilling: This describes insufficient teaching. The teachers do not take students through enough classwork and syllabus. Many private schools do not go through the rigorous process of the art of teaching. At times, the personnel working in some of these schools lack experience in how to take care or students.

2. Indiscipline: This is as a result of fear being instilled in the teachers by either the school authorities or the parents not to touch or beat any of their wards thereby making the pupils get out of control and eventually will become uncontrollable.

3. Lack of knowledge: This is a factor that should be looked at drastically because it is as a result of the inability to discipline a pupil that makes some of them dullards. For example, a teacher will finish explaining an equation to the learners and will ask if they understood it, they will say” YES” whereas they do not, and they would not even bother to ask the teacher because most of them are just too lazy to take the pain. This is why many of them fail external examinations.

4. Boring lifestyle: Pupils in the private schools don’t get to mix with their environments, thereby they get ignorant of their surroundings. It might even get to the extent that some might not even know the name of their streets because they are always caged up like dogs. No freedom to mix with their peers in the neighbourhood. And the most surprising thing is that the pupils would not even complain about their present condition because they would rather find it interesting.

5. Bad eggs in the society: Statistics have shown that many children in private schools form various groups with which some are bad. They are the ones that belong to the occultic groups in the higher institution of learning. They believe that they can misbehave and money will cover up for all the reckless lifestyles when they finally get into trouble.

6. Nepotism: A high number of results being owned by private school students are ‘arranged’ and not deserved, even some parents collaborate with the school authorities to boost up the pupils results, therefore they will not be able to defend it anywhere they go. Those are the type of people that their parents will just call the manager of a company to fix up their children without passing through due process because they know that their child(ren) are not up to standard.
